Felipe Renán Peláez Rodríguez (7 de febrero de 1976), también conocido como Pipe Peláez. Es un cantante y compositor colombo-venezolano de música vallenata que creció y se formó en Maicao, Colombia.
Comenzó tocando instrumentos como el piano y la guitarra en diferentes actividades relacionadas con su vida estudiantil y grupos sociales. Más tarde, todo esto fue extendiéndose a diferentes sectores regionales y departamentales, en los cuales comienza a generar aceptación y admiración por quienes lo conocían. Siempre estuvo de la mano con el campo musical. Desde muy pequeño, su talento para escribir y expresar los sentimientos se vio resaltado. Su vida estudiantil estuvo beneficiada gracias a esta habilidad con la cual se destacó en la parte literaria.
En mayo de 2023 decide cristalizar un sueño de infancia, grabar un álbum Ranchero, en homenaje a su padre Felipe Peláez, quien era muy seguidor de este folclore mexicano. Presenta el álbum “Un sueño llamado ranchera”.
Para el corriente 2024 presentará su nuevo álbum “UN SUEÑO LLAMADO SINFÓNICO”, proyecto en el que lleva trabajando 7 años, allí logra llevar de manera exquisita la sonoridad raizal del vallenato a la excelencia musical de lo sinfónico.
